Construction Project Coordinator
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator in the Oklahoma City, OK area.

Classification:  Project Management / Construction
Responsibilities and Requirements: 
To provide project management experience to support the construction and fabrication business and provide support and assistance to our Corporate management and engineering / construction field management groups.

The person in this position will be responsible for cross functional project coordinator duties for our construction business and will be providing efficient and lean process improvement initiatives to be used in improving and driving company objectives with the outcome of improving project efficiencies and driving down costs.
Job Description and Requirements: 
This Project Coordinator will be very involved in assigned construction projects and will work with other teams to coordinate scheduling, materials, expediting and labor force requirements. They will provide project tracking expertise to support our clients and work with internal and external business partners in providing superior project management support.
Responsibilities include:
  • Project scheduling for materials being expedited, labor and crew requirements, project delays, work schedules and monitoring of client timelines.
  • Maintain project data, schedules and timeline reports via scheduling software tools; Microsoft Project and Primavera preferred
  • Correspondence with all internal and external business partners involved on assigned projects
  • Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills to work with the customer base and to foster relationships
  • A vibrant and outgoing attitude with the desire to learn the business and be successful
  • Be business savvy, be highly organized with excellent follow up and customer focused skills

  • High School Graduate
  • Construction Project Management (CPM) courses / Certification / Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Construction industry providing project coordinator support for large tangible construction / fabrication projects used for industrial market applications
  • Experience in Construction with a General Contractor, Mechanical trade in a scheduling / project coordinator capacity
  • Strong experience in a support role to construction teams
  • Experience with scheduling software tools; Microsoft Project and Primavera
  • Mechanically inclined and intuitive to construction project processes and timelines
  • Must have strong Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer services focus and the ability to foster client relationships
