Project Engineer - Manufacturing / Fabrication
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer in the Oklahoma City, OK area.

Classification:  Engineering / Project Management
Responsibilities and Requirements: 
To provide technical engineering and project management experience to support the manufacturing and fabrication business and provide support and assistance to Corporate management and field management groups.

This position will be responsible for cross functional project management duties and providing efficient lean and process improvement initiatives to be used in improving and driving company objectives.
Job Description and Requirements: 
This Project Engineer will be heavily involved in the planning and project management areas of manufactured and fabricated products associated with our business. They will provide technical engineering support to our clients and work with internal and external business partners in providing project engineering management support.
Responsibilities include: bid proposals, bill of materials takeoff, project analysis, production analysis, project management, prototype development and testing, computer design and layout, project inspections and customer relationships.
Candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills to work with the customer base and to foster relationships.
Must have a vibrant and outgoing attitude with the desire to learn the business and be successful. They need to be business savvy, be highly organized with excellent follow up and customer focused skills.
  • BS Degree in Engineering in (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical – etc)
  • 2+ years of experience in providing technical engineering support for large tangible manufacturing / fabrications of products used for industrial market applications.
  • Experience in preparing bill of materials for projects, products, prototypes R&D and testing
  • Design experience of products, parts and prototypes
  • Strong experience with AutoCad and Visual Basic Applications (VBA), REVIT, 3D Modeling type of applications
  • Continuous Improvement lean initiatives / Six Sixma concept understanding helpful
  • Good experience in providing project management and technical engineering support
  • Mechanically inclined, hands on and manufacturing /fabrications processes (assembly, fabrication, machining, large industrial equipment repair & installation – etc.)
  • Must have strong Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer services focus and the ability to foster client relationships
